Where can you collect me to start the safari?
We can arrange collection from Kruger Mpumalanga Airport (MQP) and, depending on the programme, Hazyview, Malelane or Komatipoort. Before confirming, we check your flight or accommodation and provide the exact time and location in writing.
This means your safari begins where your journey actually starts, without having to arrange an additional transfer to the park yourself.
Can I travel from Johannesburg?
Yes. The most convenient option is usually to fly from Johannesburg to MQP and begin the programme there. The domestic flight is not included unless the tour page expressly states otherwise, but we can help coordinate flight times and collection.
Road routes are also available, although they take longer. We will recommend the option that makes the best use of your travel days.
What is the difference between a 2-, 3- and 4-day safari?
A 2-day trip gives you an action-packed break with a night near the park and better timings than a quick visit. With 3 days, you gain more game drives, time to rest and opportunities to look for wildlife in different areas.
With 4 days, you can enjoy Kruger at a more relaxed pace or add the Panorama Route and Blyde River Canyon. The best option depends on your arrival time, budget and how much you want to combine safari and scenery.
What is usually included?
Each programme details its services, but we usually coordinate collection and transfers, entrance fees, a guided safari, an open 4×4 where applicable, accommodation and the specified meals.
Before booking, we will send you a clear proposal showing what is and is not included, plus approximate times, so you can compare without surprises.
Are all journeys made in an open 4x4?
Safaris inside Kruger take place in an open 4×4 when specified in the programme, offering better visibility and a more photographic experience. Transfers between the airport, lodge and other destinations may use a closed or air-conditioned vehicle.
We will explain which vehicle is used for each section before you confirm.
Where do we stay during the safari?
We work with selected accommodation in or near the Kruger area, depending on the route and availability. Each tour page specifies the type of accommodation and meal plan.
If you have a particular lodge, comfort level or budget in mind, tell us when you enquire and we will find the best fit.
Can I combine Kruger with the Panorama Route, Eswatini or Mozambique?
Absolutely. Kruger can be the beginning of a more complete Southern African journey. We can connect it with Blyde River Canyon and the Panorama Route, Eswatini's reserves, Mozambique's beaches or a tour continuing to Victoria Falls.
The advantage is having transfers, accommodation and activities coordinated in one proposal.
Do the tours on this page genuinely begin in South Africa?
Yes. We have selected programmes whose collection and logistics begin at MQP or a nearby area stated on the tour page. We do not present a tour as departing from South Africa if its service begins later in another country.
If your flight arrives in another city, we will review the required connection with you before booking.
